Points to Ponder...

  • We could never learn to be brave and patient if there were only joy in the world. - Helen Keller
  • To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself. - Soren Kierkegaard
  • Difficult things take a long time, impossible things a little longer. – Unknown
  • Courage is being afraid but going on anyhow – Dan Rather
  • All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Thought For The Day - A Few Quotes

Dear Children,
  • Keep busy. You should lose yourself in action
  • Life is too short to be little
  • Instead of worrying about ingratitude, one should expect it. Remember that Jesus healed ten lepers in one day – and only one thanked Him. Why should any one expect more gratitude than Jesus got?
  • Two men looked from prison bars, One saw the mud, the other saw the stars.
  • Attitude, not aptitude determines your altitude.
  • A positive attitude is a person’s passport to a better tomorrow.
  • Let past bury its deadhead. Don’t saw sawdust.
  • God grant me the serenity - To accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.
  • Shut the Iron Doors on the past & future. Live in day-tight compartments.
  • Forget yourself by becoming interested in others. Often, do a good deed that will put a smile of joy on someone’s face.
  • Do the best you can; and then just put up your old umbrella and keep the rain of criticism from running down the back of your neck.
  • Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand.
