Dear Children, Good Morning.
I could attend the Greater Edmonton Teacher's Convention 2007 yesterday at Shaw Conference Centre.
Mr. Terry Orlick was the keynote Speaker, and he talked about Positive Living Skills for Teachers and Their Students. Around the world, teachers know Terry Orlick as one of the best in his field. I shall plan to attend the conference today as well.
Dear our Vikram Naana is associating with us for the next couple of days. His School Teachers are also participating in the Convention.
With Love, Amma - Naana.
Greater Edmonton Teachers' Convention
Thursday & Friday, March 1 & 2, 2007 at Shaw Conference Centre
Grow, Learn, Explore!
Reflect, Rejuvenate, Reaffirm!
OBJECTIVES: To enhance their professional commitment to teaching. To participate in discussions of educational issues. To respond to new challenges within the teaching profession. To renew commitment to improve the quality of education. To exchange ideas through professional sessions.
The Greater Edmonton Teachers’ Convention Association develops programs of general interest to teachers at all levels and in a variety of curriculum areas.
The most important contribution we can make to students' future is to teach them skills for positive living, and skills to achieve excellence in their own lives, is equally important.
In the long run, men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, they had better aim at something high.
Self – discovery is one of life’s great adventures. A further education can be a great way to launch our ship. The sure route to self – fulfillment is to live up to our potential.
The more we learn about the big, wide world, the more at home we will feel in it. When we are flexible and adaptable, we will be better able to cope with the changes that will inevitably come our way in the workplace and beyond. We get to meet and exchange ideas with people who share our interests. Success is the maximum utilization of the ability that we have.
Personal Excellence becomes possible when we DECIDE to do something with quality and FOCUS FULLY on the step in front of us.
