Akkaiah is associating me to hospital, this morning. I am now ready to go. Akkaiah comes here in couple of minutes.

Thanks dear Ranamma, and Ajay Naana for forwarding your pictures taken on the occasion of Sankranthi at Seattle. The pictures are lovely, really. And it is great that you people are the members of the Organizing Committee this time.

* Creativity comes from trust. Trust your instincts. And never hope more than you work.

Thoughts on Relationships

Dear Children,

"A good relationship contains friendship as well as love and passion and feels unique. Having a satisfying relationship in our lives is the main goal for everyone. We are all looking to be loved and to love someone, and hope that it is the best we can find - true, fulfilling and lasting.

Relationships with friends and family are filled with learning opportunities. It goes without saying that how we interact with those around us colors the kind of lives we live. I believe that human beings need to strive hard to find opportunity in adversity.

There's no magic formula. We still have to deal with the bad times,as well as the good, but doing this together will have the likelihood of improving immensely our self-worth and our quality of life. We learn to give service unselfishly to our partners or friends and others who may knock on our doors."

Peace March - Gaddar

The great cultural Peace March Organized to spread the message of a non violent peaceful struggle for Telangana. Gaddar, a symbol of socio-cultural renaissance in telangana, is leading the march.

Gaddar was born in 1949 in Toopran village of Medak district. He comes from a poor dalit family and his parents Seshaiah and Lachumamma worked as labourers to earn a living. After completing PUC (then equivalent of 12th class) from a government junior college in Hyderabad he joined the Osmania University Engineering College to pursue a Bachelors degree in engineering but dropped out after the first year to earn a living.

Gaddar married a woman named Vimala. He has two sons, called Sureedu and Chandrudu (died of illness in 2003) as well as a daughter called Vennela.

Gaddar is a symbol of socio cultural renaissance in telangana.

We believe that becoming a parent is a gift, even though parenting means taking on an enormous responsibility. It’s a miracle that a child can come into the world and instinctively give us unconditional love. If we can return that kind of love and provide a nurturing environment, the responsibility becomes less challenging.

* Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.
* The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
* Education is a life; that life is sustained on ideas. The duty of parents is to sustain a child’s inner life with ideas as they sustain his body with food.
* Children should be exposed to as many things as possible to provide them with as many connections as possible as they are growing up; then when they are grown they will have a vast relationship with all around them.
* For the youngest children a time to be held and read to is important, and as they grow older that time continues to be important, even after they can read for themselves.
* When they are taking what they learned and re-wording it for narration it becomes their own thoughts and forms relations with other things they have learned.
* It is our duty as parents to continue to struggle against all discrimination whether of race, gender, orientation, age, or size.
