The poem below is a paraphrase of the 30th poem in Rabindranath Tagore's The Gardener

In my sky at twilight you are like a cloud
and your form and color are the way I love them.
You are mine, mine, woman with sweet lips
and in your life my infinite dreams live.

The lamp of my soul dyes your feet,
My sour wine is sweeter on your lips,
oh reaper of my evening song,
how solitary dreams believe you to be mine!

You are mine, mine, I go shouting it to the
afternoon's wind,
and the wind hauls on my widowed voice.
Huntress of the depths of my eyes, your plunder
stills your nocturnal regard as though it were water.

You are taken in the net of my music, my love,
and my nets of music are wide as the sky.
My soul is born on the shore of your eyes of mourning.
In your eyes of mourning the land of dreams begins

We wish you all a Happy D a s a r a and a Happy Weekend!

An email From Naana

Dear Children, GOOD AFTERNOON.

Today I woke up late, but I am very fresh now. Thanks to all of you, for all of your constant boosting to make us a good living here, in brand new place, of course close to you.

Your dear mummy got her appointment with her doctor today. She is suffering with the pain in one hand since last week.

I am staying at home today. However, I shall go for a short trip in the neighbourhood with my pretty new bike in the evening.

More in my next mail,

with love, Naana

One day, there will be no borders, no boundaries, no flags and no countries, and the only passport will be the Heart.

Nehru..

1936

An Autobiography was written by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, while he was in prison.

He was concerned that his father, who was a prominent lawyer in India, disapproved of him going to prison, and he started to wonder himself how had ended up there.To sort out this question for himself, he wrote his autobiography book. In this book, Nehru starts his history with how his ancestors had to flee Kashmir, and then goes on to tell about his own life, with a particular emphasis on the parts of his life that had brought him to that point in time. His entire life history, from even before his father was born, seems to have led him naturally to where he was.

As a child he seems quiet, observing, and thoughtful. As a grown up he was still thoughtful. One sees his admiration for humble people, and his aversion to any form of violence very early in the book.

Edmonton Library

Dear all, I am writing this mail from Library. Presently I am in the second Floor of the building. It is a mini pub.I shall make a short trip in the library and select a couple of books of my interest and sit at a table, comfortably going through them for sometime.

I Started from home at 10.26 a m and reached the library around 12.00 am. I greeted a couple of my new acquaintances at SAGE before I came to the library. At 2.00 pm my friend Mr. Joginder joins me. And we go around the Churchill Square chatting the subjects of our interest. By 4 pm, we start back our respective sweet homes.

More in my next mail,

HAVE A NICE DAY, DEAR ALL.

With love, Naana

Note: I see people around me, with unique goals and abilities and with distinct potential.

A Wave of Comfort

Drop a pebble in the water,
just a splash and it is gone;
But there are half a Hundred ripples curling on,
and on, and on;
Spreading, spreading, spreading from the centre,
flowing on to the sea;
There's not a way of telling where the end is going be.

Drop a word of cheer and kindness,
in a minute you forget;
There's gladness still a-swelling and
there's joy a-circling yet,
You've rolled a wave of comfort
whose sweet music can be heard
Over miles and miles of water,
just by dropping a kind word.
